Chocolate City Comes to the BurlyCon Board!

The BurlyCon Board of Directors stays fly—and now, it’s growing. From Chocolate City to the Emerald City, we’re thrilled to welcome our newest Board Member, GiGi Holliday. GiGi brings undeniable glitz, glam, and allure to the table.

GiGi began her journey by studying the art of burlesque with a double major in class and sass, and a minor in tit-elation. In her hometown of Washington, D.C., she made history as one of the first burlesque performers in sixty years to grace the stage of the iconic Howard Theatre. Since then, GiGi—with both Gs proudly capped—has headlined notable burlesque festivals, including Jeezy’s Juke Joint. In 2020, she earned the number 40 spot on the Top 50 Most Influential Performers list in 21st Century Burlesque Magazine. In addition, she serves as the Entertainment Director, premier host, and dancer for La Boum Brunch. Not only that, GiGi performs as a proud member of Chocolate City Burlesque and Cabaret.

With over a decade of experience as a performer, entrepreneur, and event producer, she brings a wealth of knowledge to the BurlyCon Board of Directors. As a result, we feel deeply grateful and excited about what she will help shape. As we welcome our eighth Board Member, we know the future of BurlyCon rests in strong, capable hands.

So come dance with us, get ready for the show, and join us in celebrating GiGi Holliday as BurlyCon continues to grow.
