The BurlyCon Board of Directors stays fly and is beginning to multiply! Chocolate City has sent a representative to the Emerald City to add more glitz, glam, and allure for sure as BurlyCon welcomes its newest Board Member, GiGi Holliday!
GiGi Holliday had her start after studying the art of burlesque with a double major in class and sass and a minor in tit-elation. In her native home of Washington, D.C., she was one of the first burlesque performers in 60 years to perform at the historic Howard Theater. GiGi – with both Gs capped – Holliday has headlined several notable burlesque festivals including Jeezy’s Juke Joint and is ranked number 40 on 21st Century Burlesque’s Top 50 list of 2020. GiGi Holliday is the Entertainment Director, premier host and dancer for La Boum Brunch as well as a proud member of Chocolate City Burlesque and Cabaret (D.C.)
With Gigi Holliday’s experience as an event producer, entrepreneur, and performer with over a decade on the stage, there is so much she will bring to the BurlyCon Board of Directors and we are shimmering with gratitude over it! The future of BurlyCon is in good hands as we add our 8th Board Member and we’re not done yet!
