Annual Burlesque Educational & Social Convention
Each year, BurlyCon brings artists and enthusiasts from around the world to Seattle, Washington for four days of education, connection, and creative expansion. What unfolds is more than a convention—it’s a gathering of bold thinkers, working performers, emerging artists, and the legends who paved the way.
Across classes, panels, workshops, and curated experiences led by internationally recognized instructors and burlesque icons, attendees dive into a curriculum that spans movement and choreography, history and identity, industry insight, costuming, and creative practice. Whether you’re stepping into your first class or sharpening a professional career, BurlyCon offers space to experiment, refine, and elevate your craft.
And the learning doesn’t stop when the sessions end. BurlyCon is where friendships spark, collaborations take root, and artists across identities, bodies, and backgrounds come together to celebrate the depth, nuance, and brilliance of burlesque.

Alongside classes, BurlyCon offers Panels, Caucuses, and Meet & Greets. Panels center guided conversations with invited guests, Caucuses provide identity-based spaces for connection and Meet & Greets bring people together to build community.

In between classes, enjoy a welcoming space to rest, recharge, connect with fellow attendees, and grab snacks or refreshments. BurlyBar is where community conversations unfold and new friendships begin.

Peer Reviews
Get supportive, constructive feedback on works in progress from seasoned instructors and fellow artists. Peer Reviews nurture growth, spark ideas, and help refine your acts in a thoughtful, collaborative environment. Application coming soon!
