Betsy Bottom Dollar

Interim Director of In-Person Programming

The titillating tornado of talent! Raised by a wild pack of drag queens, Betsy learned early that bigger is better: attitude…ego…hair. Hailing from Victoria, BC, Canada, Betsy has been entertaining admiring fans for over 45 years when she started dancing at a young age. This performer, producer, choreographer, coach, and emcee is a force to be reckoned with. She was the lead singer of heavy metal bands in the 80s, 90s, and 2000s. She wrote, produced, and starred in a one-woman-singing-impersonation show called Diva Las Vegas, and performed in Drag-A-Rama, a weekly drag show, for over a decade. Since 2008, Betsy has brought her own brand of sass, crass, and smart-ass to multiple burlesque festivals across North America, as a headlining performer, an emcee, a soloist, and competitor including the Burlesque Hall of Fame in Las Vegas. She continually brings audiences to their feet with her standout showmanship and has choreographed numerous competition worthy group acts for the Cheesecake Burlesque Revue. A splash of diva, a smash of drag queen, and a crash of heavy metal; she’s a woman who will give you her 2 cents… whether you want it or not.
